Yeah, Oh Yeah! is pretty nice. Jens Lekman is really able to sing Stephin Merritt songs. Conor Oberst is not. I like Bright Eyes a lot, but the cover ain't good. Well, maybe I just don't wanna hear my favorite song in the world covered.

I agree. I'm definitely not a huge fan of the Bright Eyes cover... but you have a point, THAT song of all songs (perhaps my favourite all-time MF song), well, it's just really easy to fuck it up.
Conor Oberst 2.0 is also maybe not the ideal person to attempt it.

Jens, well, he clearly owns a few MF albums himself :) And his voice could sing any MF song, and it'd probably be great.
