When the last you saw/heard of a band you once loved was said band collectively crawling up their own asses, the fact that the first track off their new album is titled 'The World The People Together (Come On)' isn't exactly reassuring... One envisages Richard Ashcroft - who actually has a song called ' Come on people, we're making it now - type pseudo-spiritual, philosophy 101 nonsense about music and uhm people... You know, dude, the world's connected, models are highly fuckable, politics are like such bullshit, I totally dig Ginsberg and we need more, love, man...

totally agree with you, I listened to the entire album streamed... very disappointed, only stand out track was "talk radio"
Dandies lost it years ago. But were awesome back then.
